How does it work?

Home How does it work?

Okay, in short - how does it all work?

The Guardia Control System is like a person with an extremely good memory for faces. It scans the face for its visual appearance in 3 dimensions with a precision of just 1 mm. Furthermore it scans the temperature of the skin with a precision of 0.2 degrees Celcius and makes a 3D model of the face. This means that the looks and temperature of the face is copied to a database, so it can be remembered and used for later comparison.

No touching

The Guardia Control System does not involve any assisting persons in the scanning process. The photos are taken automatically, and do not require any interaction of the parties.

Unlike fingerprint or hand-print scanners, the camera doesn't come into physical contact with the user and doesn't become contaminated by body oils or other particles.

Infrared and 3D equals Guardia Control System

3D and infrared scanning make the data that is stored in the database. By combining these types of measurements we have a recognition system with an extremely high accuracy.

And not only does it recognize - it also scans for illness like SARS etc. because of the temperature scannings that is a patented part of the Guardia Control System.

A quick list of advantages with the Guardia Control System

  • It takes both 2D and 3D photos with more biometrically information than any other system.
  • By adding an infrared photo , which is one of the patented part of the GCS technology makes it possible to have even more information about the person, e.g. illness, etc.
  • No special white or infrared facial illumination required - Ambient light is sufficient for authorization decisions.
  • It does not involve any person directly in the process. The photos are taken automatically, and do not require any interaction on the parties.
  • Hands-free operation - Unlike fingerprint or hand-print scanners, the camera doesn't come into physical contact with the user and doesn't become contaminated by body oils or other particles.
  • Record of unauthorized users - Unauthorized users automatically has their photo recorded. Other biometric systems, such as fingerprint scanners, may actually capture a record of an unauthorized attempt, but the fingerprint requires special training to decipher. An image of a face, however, can be readily interpreted by anybody.
  • Continuous monitoring - No other biometric system can provide an ongoing monitoring function.
  • Very high accuracy.
