"The Norwegian Biometric Forum is a network of individuals from public and private sector with a keen interest in biometric applications. Biometric technologies have been around for several years, but have over the last two years experienced an increased focus as a consequence of the increased terror fright after the September 11th incident in 2001.
The Norwegian Biometric Forum was started in order to exchange ideas and experiences on practical implementation of biometrics as well as establishing an inspiring arena for identifying new opportunities in this rapid developing technology."
